CA students place at MAIS Reading Fair

Several Canton Academy students attended the overall MAIS Reading Fair after placing in the district fair last month. The overall fair was held at the Clyde Muse Center, and CA had two winners. 

For First Grade Fiction, Collins Winters got first place for her project and second place for character portrayal. For Sixth Grade Fiction, Kee Curro got third place for his project. 
The MAIS conducts a Reading Fair in each District and an Overall Reading Fair each year. The method of selection of contestants for the District will be left entirely to the discretion of each participating school. (A local fair is recommended for selection of contestants.) Competition in the Overall Reading Fair is limited to winners from the District Fairs.
