Erin Nichols serves as Page

Canton High School student Erin Nichols recently served, with distinction, as a Page for District 21 Mississippi State Senator Barbara Blackmon during the 2023 Legislative Session. The Senate page and internship programs allow students to learn about the legislative process and serve the people of Mississippi. Both programs have a competitive admission program and provide an unforgettable experience. Some of the daily tasks of a Senate page consist of attending classes, delivering correspondence and legislative material within the Congressional complex, preparing the chamber for Senate sessions, and carrying bills and amendments to the desk.
