Canton’s Brown and Johnson named Holmes CC Class Favorites

The Holmes Community College Ridgeland Campus recently announced their 2023 Who’s Who recipients and Class Favorites, which includes Jessica Brown and Analise Marie Johnson, both of Canton.

Named Mr. and Miss Holmes for the Ridgeland Campus are Jaylen Grays and Olasike Olagbegi, both of Jackson. 

Class Favorites include Brown and Johnson of Canton, as well as Arian Cordelia Felton of Madison, Hollyn Oswalt and Derrick Lashun Taylor II of Clinton, Sean Justin Jordan of Byram, Charlotte Lamar of Jackson and Garrett Viator of New Iberia, Louisiana. 

Brown, daughter of Robert Brown and the late Sandra Ransburg Brown, is a sophomore social work major, Dean’s List Scholar, community service volunteer for Better Men Society (a non-profit organization that assists the elderly and less fortunate) and a volunteer for the Girl Scouts Troop (Canton branch). 

Johnson, daughter of Kimberly Warren, is a freshman criminal justice major, Ambassador, member of SGA and member of Phi Theta Kappa.
