Dickerson named GCC Athlete

Recently, Canton Academy alum Ava Dickerson was chosen as the Gulf Coast Conference’s Champion Scholar Athlete. The GSC bestows this honor upon the competitor with the highest grade point average. Dickerson is a senior at Mississippi College majoring in biology. After graduation from MC in May, Dickerson plans to attend the Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She says that she is “very grateful to Coach Ben Williams for his encouragement and inspiration” to do her best.
