CA students to join MC athletics

Canton Academy seniors Smith Barnes and Samuel Wadford were surrounded by their family and classmates as they celebrated signing with the Mississippi College football program. CA’s Head Football Coach Gage Posey said, “I’m very proud of both of them. They represent the standard that we preach to our football players–hard work, dedication, and great character. Both Smith and Samuel will be successful in athletics and in life. We are extremely proud of them for the way they represent Canton Academy football.” Head of School Ryan Laster said, “Canton Academy is excited for any of our students to continue their academic and athletic future at the next level.  Samual and Smith have put the work in to have this great opportunity. We are very proud and excited to watch them at the next level.”
