Canton Career Center students compete in SkillsUSA

Canton Career Center’s Construction and Carpentry students recently qualified for the state SkillsUSA competition. SkillsUSA offers many opportunities for growth through career competitions.

Students can compete at the local or state level. State winners go on to the national competition: The SkillsUSA Championships. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. A nonprofit national education association, SkillsUSA serves middle school, high school and college/postsecondary students preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations.
