The Old Jail Flea Market saw much success last year and will return to the lawn of the Old Madison County Jail once again on May 11. The Old Jail is among the most outstanding and best-preserved nineteenth-century penal facilities in Mississippi. It is a significant example of post-Civil War architecture, exhibiting both domestic and institutional characteristics of the period.
