Chap Cook commits to PRCC

Canton Academy junior Chap Cook recently committed to play baseball at Pearl River Community College (PRCC). 

PRCC, a community college in Poplarville, Mississippi, won the National Championship in 2022. According to PRCC, this fall, they boasted eight Wildcat sophomores signing on the dotted line to continue their baseball careers at the four-year level.

After claiming the MACCC Championship — for a second consecutive year — and the Region 23 Tournament title, Pearl River capped the season with a 5-1 record in Enid, Oklahoma, to claim the program’s first National Championship.

Canton Academy coaches say they are excited for their Panther to continue his education and, after completing his junior and senior years at CA, become a Wildcat.
