REGAN ALEXANDER CAPTURES THE TITLE OF MISS BLACK MISSISSIPPI USA TALENTED TEEN 2023 AND WILL REPRESENT MISSISSIPPI AT THE 2023 MISS BLACK USA TALENTED TEEN SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT

Regan Alexander, a freshman honors student at Germantown High School proves beauty queens are more than pretty faces.  Her pageant platform is, "Created to Create".  Regan’s platform was born through her love of art. She uses it to teach youth how to use art to express themselves positively and cope with difficult times in their lives.  She also wants to educate people about the benefits of art and inspire creativity in her community. Regan is actively involved in her community and high school as she participates in her school's Speech & Debate Team, Young Women's Leadership Club, and World Culture Club, and is a member of the City of Gluckstadt Mayor's Youth Council.  Some of her hobbies include drawing, listening to music, and playing games. She is a self-taught seamstress and guitarist and currently learning Japanese. 

Regan will go on to represent the state of Mississippi in the 2023 Miss Black USA Scholarship Pageant, August 3-6, 2023  in the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. for the chance to earn a full scholarship to Delaware State University, talent & modeling opportunities, and so much more.

Miss Black USA is the nation's premier pageant for women of color. The non-profit organization, headquartered in the state of Maryland, has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to its participants to date.
