TORRI ALEXANDER CAPTURES THE TITLE OF MS BLACK MISSISSIPPI USA 2023 AND WILL REPRESENT MISSISSIPPI AT THE 2023 MS BLACK USA SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT

Torri Alexander

Torri Alexander is a native of Canton, Mississippi. She has recently crowned Ms. Black Mississippi, USA 2023. One of her greatest accomplishments was birthing the ministry “Let the Healing Begin” which she also uses as her pageant platform. Through her ministry and pageant platform, she inspires women to adopt a holistic lifestyle that nourishes them as a whole. She also uses social media via a Facebook live stream show to educate women on how to transform their minds, body, and spirit. Her slogan is “Healing the Whole Woman”. Another accomplishment of hers is being a playwright.  In 2010 she wrote and produced the stage play "Stolen Identity" which focused on the lives of four women trying to reclaim their identities as they maneuver through life's hardships.  She is currently pursuing a certification in Christian Counseling at Emerge Christian Training Institute which she hopes to use to better equip her in the ministry of women's health.

Torri will go on to represent the state of Mississippi in the 2023 Miss Black USA Scholarship Pageant, August 3-6, 2023  in the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. for the chance to earn the gain the experience to talent & modeling contracts, monetary prizes and so much more.

Miss Black USA is the nation's premier pageant for women of color. The non-profit organization, headquartered in the state of Maryland, has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to its participants to date.
