Canton Academy recently celebrated homecoming as the Panthers took to the field to play the Clinton Christian Academy Warriors. During the halftime performances, homecoming court was announced. Homecoming senior maids included Makaylah Walley, Mckenzie Pace and Reese Willis. Escorted by her younger brother Andrew Willis, the stadium erupted in applause as Reese was announced homecoming queen.
Willis is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Willis of Flora and is a member of First United Methodist Church in Canton. She was in the first-ever CA K3 class and has been at CA since 2008. She is Captain of the Varsity Cheer squad and President of the Senior Class, and has been on the Head of School’s List throughout her high school years. In addition, she is Vice President of the National Honor Society and Editor-in-Chief of the yearbook. Reese has represented Canton Academy outside the classroom as a Madison County Youth Leader Ambassador and as a part of the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Team. Outside of school, Reese enjoys going to the gym, lying by the pool or on the beach with a good book, shopping, making trips to Oxford, and spending time with friends and family. She plans to attend the University of Mississippi to pursue a degree in Allied Health Sciences. Hotty Toddy and Go Panthers!
