The Madison County Business League & Foundation (MCBL&F) and the Madison County Economic Development Authority (MCEDA) recently announced that Dr. Dave Altig, VP of Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, will be the keynote speaker at the 14th annual Vision Celebration Luncheon on Tuesday, October 18, at the Country Club of Jackson. The theme of the event is “Vision for Economic Growth.” Four hundred eighty Madison County Business League & Foundation members, elected/appointed officials and special guests are attending.
The prestigious 2022 VISION and VISIONARY Leadership Awards will be presented as a means of recognizing and thanking certain stand out Madison County businesses and individuals for their contributions to the community, including their unique or remarkable accomplishments, their investments in people, and the resulting impact that their operations have on the local area economy. This year’s recipient of the Vision Award is Nissan North America – Canton. Clint Herring, Founder and CEO of Kerioth Corporation, will receive the Visionary Leadership Award, and Hank Waterer, First Commercial Bank, will receive the 2022 Outstanding Madison County Young Professional award.
Miss Mississippi 2022 Emmie Perkins will provide entertainment along with the Raphael Semmes Jazz Ensemble featuring Temperance Babcock.
The Madison County Business League & Foundation was created in 2008 by the Madison County Economic Development Authority and the Madison County Board of Supervisors to promote economic planning and development.
