CPSD Athletics receives donation

The CPSD Athletic Department recently received a $3,500 donation from Wheaton College and In His Steps Ministries.

The funds will support Canton High School (CHS) student-athletes. Wheaton’s football defensive line coach, Jeffrey Peltz, and In His Steps Ministries sports director, Christian Howard, presented the check to CPSD’s athletic director, Melissa Word. During their spring mission trip, student-athletes from Wheaton College have been sharing their knowledge and offering their support to the CHS Tigers.

Wheaton College is located in Wheaton, Illinois, where In His Steps Ministries founder Reverend Jasper Bacon is an alumnus.
