CA named as one of MBS’ Best of the Best

Mississippi Blood Services (MBS) recently announced that they wanted to thank all donors and organizations that held blood drives during 2021. This past year held many challenges for everyone, and MBS recognizes that everyone who came out to donate went above and beyond. There were those, however, that MBS says raised the standard a little higher. As such, MBS recognized them for their support in 2021. One of those being recognized is Canton Academy.

It had been two years since Canton Academy was able to host a blood drive with Mississippi Blood Services, but chairperson Alison Martin decided it was time to crank it up, again. And crank it up, they did. They hosted a blood drive in February of 2021 and collected a much-needed forty-two units, then held two more successful drives in 2021. 

“Canton Academy has proved to be a true champion of their community and of Mississippi Blood Services, which is why they are one of the Best of the Best,” said MBS representatives.
