Panther baseball kicks off

The Canton Academy Panthers have begun their baseball season with enthusiasm. From fans filling the stands to a lime green dinosaur being the “rally dino” in the dugout, these athletes are ready to give their all to America’s greatest pastime. 

According to Head Coach Gage Posey, “We’ve had some ups and downs early this year so far, but the good thing about baseball is there are many games. We have a lot more games to play and a lot more opportunities to get better. The kids are working hard and know what to expect now, so we will continue to out work our opponents on and off the field. We want to win a championship, and we are excited about the rest of the season.”
