Special to The Canton News
Canton High Tiger Jaekwon Bouldin recently signed a scholarship to play football at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The 6’ 7”, 290-pound right tackle says he is excited his hard work and dedication paid off.
His family surrounded him to celebrate his signing.
Bouldin says he has goals of hopefully playing at a D-1 university after he completes his two years at MGCCC. He hopes to eventually play in the NFL. In the meantime, he wants to major in cosmetology and become a barber.
He thanked his parents, coaches, teachers and friends for all of their support over the years. He gave special thanks to his football coach, Calvin Bolton, for believing in him and giving him the training and opportunity to reach his goals.
