Celebrate the holiday at a State Park!

Mississippi's State Parks are known for offering unique, affordable opportunities for family summer outings, from boating to picnicking. In addition to these recreational and nature-based activities, a couple of state parks offer Fourth of July celebration events:

Roosevelt State Park
Join us for our annual boat parade and fireworks display sponsored by Friends of Roosevelt on July 4. The boat parade will start at 6 p.m. and the fireworks display will start at 9 p.m. Entrance into the park for this special event is $10 per vehicle. (Read more on Roosevelt)

Paul B. Johnson State Park
The park will have a fireworks display on July 4, starting at 9 p.m. Entrance into the park for this special event is $10 per vehicle. (Read more on Paul B. Johnson)
