CHS Tigers shoot, dribble, pass

Basketball season has led to packed gyms and excited fans over at Canton High School. Hands have clapped and feet have stomped as community members cheer on the Tigers. Recently, both the boys and girls Tigers defeated the Forest High Bearcats. According to head coach Russell Evans,“The 2021-2022 Basketball season has gotten off to a hot and cold start. We started the season playing good basketball, and then we hit some bumps in the road. The team has been getting better each day. I love the group of players that I have the privilege to coach and mentor. As the season progresses, I know the team will have an excellent opportunity to be unique and compete for a 5-A State Championship.”
