The Madison County Executive Leadership class kicked off their program year with Government Day on Wednesday, February 26. The 2025 class toured the Mississippi State Capitol, met with the Madison County legislative delegation, toured the Mississippi Supreme Court, received updates on County road projects from Central District Transportation Commissioner Willie Simmons and MDOT Executive Director Brad White, and engaged with statewide elected officials. It was an incredible opportunity to gain insight into how the government operates and to stay informed about what’s happening in Madison County. The MCEL program is sponsored by the Madison County Economic Development Authority (MCEDA) and the Madison County Business League & Foundation.
