Women in Unity for Christ promotes literacy at Camden Elementary’s Dr. Seuss event

On March 3, Women in Unity for Christ (WIUFC), a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering the community, sponsored the Dr. Seuss Read Across America event at Camden Elementary School.

To create a fun and engaging atmosphere, several WIUFC members dressed as the Cat in the Hat, setting the stage for lively classroom presentations. Each class enjoyed a captivating reading of a Dr. Seuss story, enhanced with props, interactive activities, and an infectious enthusiasm for learning.

In addition to fostering a love of reading, WIUFC provided each student with a gift bag filled with educational materials, dental and healthcare items, information on literacy program registration, and healthy snacks—fresh apples and oranges generously donated by Piggly Wiggly of Canton.
