Lt. Mark Sandridge from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department visited Ms. Bright’s Law and Public Safety Class to share invaluable insights about pursuing a career in law enforcement. He emphasized that good work ethics are essential for success and the importance of always striving to help others.
He focused heavily on resiliency and maintaining a positive mindset, encouraging students to surround themselves with positive people and to practice gratitude for what they have. As a business owner, Lt. Sandridge shared his personal journey, detailing his failures and successes, and stressed that reaching your goals often involves being led by God.
He also urged students to learn as much as they can about the careers they aspire to and to never hesitate to ask for help when needed.
