Davis volunteers to help scholars

The Canton Public School District remains steadfast in its commitment to provide students with the necessary skills to succeed on their upcoming MAAP assessment. Jaleal Davis, a senior at Canton High School, recently volunteered to tutor students in math, concentrating on calculator usage. Davis’ academic record is distinguished, featuring a composite score of 27 on the ACT, with a notable 27 in math. Students were receptive to his instruction and also engaged in peer tutoring. Moreover, students who have successfully completed a part of the GED recognize the value of supporting their peers in achieving similar success.
