Chaves recognized for CPSD contributions

Thomas and Deanne Chaves were recently named the Canton Public School District 2024-25 Parents of the Year, for their unwavering commitment to supporting students and staff and ensuring a successful school year. They were also named the Reuben B. Myers Canton School of Arts and Sciences, as well as the District Parents of the Year. Parents were recognized for each CPSD school.

Other Parents of the Year include:
Reneu Bridgeman - Nichols Middle School
Kesha Young - Canton Elementary School
Camiosh Cotton - McNeal Elementary School
FaShannalyn Blackmon - Jimmie M. Goodloe School
Cassie Bates-Huntley - Huey L. Porter Middle School
Annie Williams - Canton High School
