Students inducted into National Technical Honor Society

The Utica Campus of Hinds Community College recently inducted students, including Chayaria Jones of Canton, into the National Technical Honor Society.

 The mission of the National Technical Honor Society is “to advocate for and empower all students to pursue the skills needed to build their careers and the global workforce.” The honor society was founded to recognize excellence in technical students. Students are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA to be a member. 

Those inducted included (l to r):  LaTrenda Hudson of Terry, Clothing and Fashion Design Technology; Taylor Nelson of Jackson, Culinary Arts Technology; Maria Matos of Clinton, Clothing and Fashion Design; Shayaria Jones of Canton, Clothing and Fashion Design; and Da’JneaAntoine of Grenada, Radio and Television Production and Broadcasting Technology.
