Active shooter drill a success

Recently, the Canton Public School District (CPSD) Security Department held an active shooter drill. According to CPSD representatives, Chief Robert Jackson, III aims to establish a secure environment for students, staff, and all stakeholders and is dedicated to fostering a positive relationship with the community where students live. By cultivating strong ties with the community, Chief Jackson and his team can maintain vigilance and stay alert to any potential threats in and around local schools. Chief Jackson says he finds fulfillment and enthusiasm in his role by prioritizing community engagement and school safety.
