Madison County Farm Bureau will host the annual meeting of members on Thursday, September 12, at 9 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Rob Foy Fellowship Hall on the grounds of Thornton Chapel Church at 496 Way Road in Canton.
The agenda will include Mississippi Farm Bureau Central Mississippi Vice President Ted Kendall and Region 5 Regional Manager Kevin Brown providing updates from the state and federal levels concerning farm issues.
Russell Cauthen from AGUP Equipment will give an update on the latest farm technologies and a crop report for the county.
Senator Jenifer Branning will round out the speakers for the day.
This meeting has been planned to energize and encourage farmers and the farming support chain. The speakers will stay after the meeting to answer questions. Interested attendees are encouraged to mark their calendars, invite their neighbors, and join Madison County Farm Bureau in celebrating another year of farming. Following the annual meeting, the Madison County Board of Directors will meet.
