Cheatham returns to CA as coach

Canton Academy recently welcomed Seth Cheatham back to the CA family. Coach Cheatham is a 2005 graduate of Canton Academy. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2010 with a degree in kinesiology. He and his wife Emily have been married for thirteen years and have two boys, Brantley (7) and Jaxson (almost 2). 

Coach Cheatham has taught and coached at East Rankin Academy, Sylva-Bay Academy and Lamar School. He will serve as junior high boys’ basketball coach for the Panthers, as well as assistant varsity boys’ basketball coach and assistant baseball coach. 

Coach Cheatham says, “I can’t wait to get started and to be able to put back on the black and gold!”
