Four Canton Ninth Grade Academy (CNGA) students recently qualified to compete in the Personal Finance Challenge 2024 State Championship for the High School/Access Zone Division. The event is highly competitive, and only five teams statewide have qualified for this division. The competition was held in person in mid-April at the Mississippi Public Broadcasting Studios in Jackson. The CNGA Personal Finance Team included Alexandria Luckett, Jalynn Dunigan, Nelly Cardona-Rosales, and Henser Vicente. All participating students received prizes, and the first- and second-place teams from each division (middle school and high school) were awarded college scholarships.
