CPSD schools recognized by PREPS

Canton Public Schools recently received recognition from the Program of Research and Evaluation for Public Schools (PREPS) for their outstanding achievement and growth for the 2023 school year.

The Achievement Award is based on a school/grade level having a “scale score” increase that was at least twice the state average increase.

The Growth Award is based on a school being in the top ten percent of Mississippi schools in overall growth in Reading/ELA and Math. Canton Elementary received the Fifth-Grade Math Achievement Award.
