House of Representatives honors CHS team

Representative Lawrence Blackmon of Canton and the Mississippi House of Representatives honored the Canton High School (CHS) boys basketball team with a resolution for winning the 5A State Championship.

Representative Blackmon also treated the team to a meal and a tour of the State Capitol. He and Senator Bradford Blackmon praised the team for their dedication and hard work.

Canton Mayor William Truly and CHS principal Dr. Pamela Self were also recognized for supporting the team and helping cheer them on to victory.
