Canton Lions Club plans annual chicken barbecue

On April 26, from 4 until 6 p.m., the Canton Lions will be offering a “drive through” pick-up for the yearly chicken barbecue at the First Church of Canton, located at 3301 South Liberty Street.  Visitors can purchase tickets from any Lions Club member or by messaging Canton Lions Facebook.  
The tickets are $15 a plate.  

President Moses Thompson said, “I would like to ask that all of Canton help us, as we raise money to support the scholarships given each year to the City of Canton Schools and the other worthy causes the Lions sponsor.”  

Members of the Canton Lions include Al Salmi, Arnel Bolden, Bobby Long, Chan Chandler, Cheyenne Stewart, Secretary/Treasurer Daniel Logan, Danny Murphy, Vice President Gary Teasley, Joy Foy, President Moses Thompson, Richard Case, Simon Collier, Tamika Liddell and Timmy Pickett.
