Canton Garden Club: There is always more to arrange

Tuesday, January 9, in the new year of 2024, Joe and Judy Rankin, of Rankin Interiors presented to the Canton Garden Club. Wanda Baldwin and Sherrye Lacour hosted the meeting, to the great delight of a growing crowd. Joe’s displayed talent for stunning architectural flower arrangement left speechless several members who doubted there was much new to learn. 

Joe Rankin fell into flower arranging by serving clients through his interior design business co-owned with his wife, Judy. Increasing demand for his unique approach led him to growing many of his own plants. Joe is currently the lone masculine presence in the Jackson Garden Club, and he advocates for low-cost, homegrown designs - so cleverly disguised they could be featured on the cover of lifestyle magazines. 

After thrilled gasps and surprised laughter, the Canton Garden Club voted to keep accepting new members, with invitation from a current participant. The group meets the second Tuesday of every month and values gracious gardening, serving the Canton community, conservation, and having fun.
