Canton-Madison Alumni Chapter of MVSU Celebrates Madison

The Canton-Madison Alumni Chapter of Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) recently announced and celebrated the enrollment of three outstanding students from Madison County. These students have exhibited exceptional academic, athletic achievements and promise, and the chapter says they are thrilled to welcome them to the MVSU family. 


The students include Regina Hardy, a graduate of Canton Public High School; Brendan Magee, a graduate of Ridgeland High School;and Cole Parker, a graduate of Madison-Ridgeland Academy. 


Hardy has excelled in her academic pursuits, particularly in the field of sciences. As a result, she plans on majoring in science education. Her decision to attend MVSU reflects her desire to gain a well-rounded education and capitalize on the opportunities available at the institution.


Magee has consistently displayed a strong commitment to academic excellence and athletics. With his communication skills and passion for medicine, he plans to major in biology at MVSU. He will be a member of the Delta Devils.


Parker, who graduated with a GPA of 3.5, will be a member of the Delta Devils football team. His passion for learning and leadership has earned him numerous accolades during his high school career. He will be pursuing a degree in computer science at MVSU, aiming to contribute to the ever-evolving world of technology.


The Canton-Madison Alumni Chapter of MVSU says they take immense pride in the accomplishments of these three students. As advocates for education, the chapter is committed to supporting and nurturing the development of young minds in the community. The chapter believes that these students will represent Madison County with distinction and contribute significantly to the MVSU campus.


Mississippi Valley State University has a history of providing quality education and fostering a nurturing environment for students to thrive academically, socially, and culturally. The chapter is confident that these three students will find a vibrant and supportive community at MVSU, one that encourages their personal growth and success.


The Canton-Madison Alumni Chapter of MVSU says they extend their heartfelt congratulations to the students on their acceptance to Mississippi Valley State University. They also encourage them to embrace the countless opportunities that lie ahead, to forge new friendships, and to make lasting memories during their time at MVSU.
