Lewis signs with East Central CC

Recently, Canton High Tiger De’Anthony Lewis signed his letter of intent to play basketball at East Central Community College. As part of his senior salute, Lewis said his motto was “You learn from failure, then from success. Don’t let it stop you; failure builds character.” 

Before graduation, Lewis said his future plans were “to continue my education, majoring in general studies. Also, I would like to continue being an athlete on a college level, and, hopefully, I will be successful and be able to play on a professional level or overseas.” 

Little did he know, his dream of being a college athlete would be fulfilled. His school, family, teachers, and friends have been cheering him on and said they are proud and excited for his future.
